Every day harbros a new development in the issue of safe transportation of the Southern Cyprus and Israel natural gas resources to markets, which lies at the heart of the Eastern Mediteranean energy problem. One of the most important reasons of this is the production dates draw close for the natural gas resources of the recently discovered Leviathan gas field of Israel and Southern Cyprus’ Aphrodite gas field. In addition to the production dates which is estimated to be 2019, another common characteristics of these two sites is that US-based Noble company has partnership in both of these sites. Another reasonb for frequent heated developments in the region’s equation is the fluctuating diplomatic relations in the region countries.
